Annual reports for 2007/08 now available for Audit Scotland and the Accounts Commission

The Audit Scotland annual report sets out our progress under each of our three corporate priorities:

  • supporting effective democratic scrutiny
  • maximising the value of the audit
  • building an efficient and effective organisation.

During 2007/08, on behalf of the Auditor General and the Accounts Commission, Audit Scotland was responsible for the audit of about 200 public bodies and over £31 billion of public expenditure. The reports reflect our various achievements over the year as well as summarising the body of work Audit Scotland produced in 2007/08.

The audited accounts of Audit Scotland are also available here on our website.
